The battle for Konor
I managed to get in not one, but two games for the Fate of Konor global campaign over the weekend. All for the glory of Chaos, but not always using Chaos. Hmmmm..... I also did some X-Wing Mario Kart racing.

Webway from Tacticon: Epic Fail
Okay, epic fail may be a bit harsh. Last weekend, we all headed down to Tacticon for some hard fought battles for supremacy. I felt super good about my Eldar/Dark Eldar force, thought I would do decent with my X-Wing list, and was worried about my 1 preregistration Malifaux tournament. So, how did it all go down? Guess you will just have to read on...

Webway to Tacticon: I used to be awesome.
Oh, wait, I still am. Too much? Well, my combined Eldar army and its display board are awesome. All I have left is to finish the frame, which I will next week, while I do the plaques, and its off to the races on Friday. It has been a long road, but the end is in sight, and I am super stoked.

TMI: Steampunk Ewok Village
Managed to get in a couple games and unveil my Pumping Station Board. I almost wussed out for the second game, being as I got zero sleep the night before, but I'm glad I stuck around. The title? Well, the inspiration for the board started with the Ewok village, then I steampunked it.

TMI: Tourney Prep
Managed to get three full games of Warhammer 40K in this last Saturday. Two of which where timed tournament missions, both of which finished a turn five. A roughing out of point for what a tournament game for round three would have been, and I fell just short of my 30 point goal.

TMI-pocalypse
This last weekends gaming was just one game, but it was anything but short. IT WAS APOCALYPTIC!

TMI: It's all a little foggy
Played a couple games over last weekend, but have been to busy to post. Now they are a bit hazy, but I will try and relay what I remember. Wow, talk about excitement.

TMI: Beaten by the Tabled
OH, NO! I got tabled with the new Eldar! Wait, no I didn't. But I didn't win either. So... How does that work?
Webway to Tacticon: Emerald Death From the Skies
The Razorwing and the Crimson Hunter ready to wreck your day.

As it flies into the sunset.
I also finished the disintergrators for the Razorwing. I am much happier with them aesthetically over the Dark Lances. They also seem to be doing better for me on the table as well, so I am excited. Just the display board and the Baron from completetion, with less than 60 days left.

Webway to Tacticon: Green Crimson Hunter Edition
Is it Christmas? No, not yet, but I do have a new addition to the force. The Crimson Hunter. Against vehicles it is an ugly beast. Elsewhere, its a 175 point nuisance. I think its worth it. It wrecks where the Razorwing chipped paint. AND the Razorwing is now free to go anti infantry, and I have dropped the Dark Lances for Disintegrators. I have a run down of my latest game with it in Monday's post. There is also a couple of games I played with it in a post last week, it didn't do as well(no vehicles). Either way, its here to stay.
I was also able to paint squad markings, now that the new book is out, and I am for sure my squads won't change size.

TMI: Into the new Webay
After a week off, it is time to dive into the new book and see where I stand.

OTT: All quiet on the western front
It's been almost a week since I last posted. Things have been pretty hobby free around here, with me being out of town over the weekend, and general hobby spaz on what I did work on. I finally managed to get my Hellions primed on Monday as it stopped raining. I took it a step further and airbrushed the base coats on the Hellions and the missiles for the Razorwing. As far as spazzing has been, I also reassembled my Aleph models and Chaosed up my Space Hulk guys a bit. Having read two of the ADB Nightlord books, I came to realise they weren't fitting with what the fluff has portrayed them as. Not sure I am as happy with them, but I think they will work. I still need to clean them up quite a bit, and then get them to paint. I am also still missing two of the bolter guys and the Sorcerer/Librarian.

TMI: Dice A'thon
A very busy weekend. I played five games, across three systems, won a game of each, lost a game of two. Warhammer 40k, Warmachine, and Infinity to the gills. Still in Malifaux withdrawal, but read on for the others.

Webway to Tacticon: Mission Completion!
Having broken the spell of the Tau, I managed to get back to work and finish off all I had that I can currently finish.
This leaves me with the Baron and the three headless Hellions. I am, however, contemplating redoing my force icon. The black dagger just doesn't show. I also think I need to come up with some unit markings. These will likely be "ghost" symbols on the bikes' "wings." By ghost, I mean markings that are barely off of the color of the wings now, making them almost unseeable from a distance, but a cool effect up close.
Tomorrow, I plan to put these bad boys on the table.

Webway to Tacticon: Curse the Greater Good
Forgive me dear reader, for I am weak. The Tau have arrived and they have slowed my progress this week. But today I managed to bring it back to focus. As you can see above, the guardians are ready. Tomorrow I will varnish them, 'ardcoat the gems, and do final assembly. You will also notice the Reaver riders in the back ground. They just need their metalics done, then they too will be joining their rides. After that, I just have to finish the Baron and the headless Hellions, and then its a waiting game to see if the codex drops.

Webway to Tacticon: The riders are coming!
On the table this week: the last of my jet bike riders. Both the Guardians and the Reavers, even though they don't need finished for Tacticon. I'm even painting a gunner from a Viper for no apparent reason. The plan is to have them all finished and on their bike by this weekend. That will leave the finish on the Baron, the Razorwings missiles(which may get done also), and the three headless Hellions. Not bad with 143 days left to go.
There is a speed bump though, the Tau are out. A new codex means a new distraction. Hopefully one I can over come. Though, I am already making plans to start in on my over abundance of unfinished Tau, after the Eldar are finished.

Webway to Tacticon: Piercing the Veil
So, no TMI this week, as I am out of town at my Uncles. A little R&R means no games played. I guess you all are on your own for tactical genius this week. As a bit of a tide over, here is the world début of my new Farseer Warlord. He is a combination of Eldar Autarch, Fire Dragon Exarch, Shining Spear, Guardian, and a jetbike. I really enjoyed putting this one together, hope you all like him.
Hopefully, everyone will get to see him on the table when TMI returns.

Webway to Tacticon: Riding High
Just put the finishing touches on my jetbike chassis, including my reavers. This means they are all but finished. I have to add the sigil to the banners of my Warlord Farseer, but other than that they are all done. Tomorrow I will begin work on the riders. Once they are finished I can varnish and do final assembly and all will be done, except three Hellions waiting on heads and the Baron waiting on his sigil.
Of course, all of this is for the current book. I am thinking I may need to pick up a few more bike to make ready for a likely new Eldar book. It makes me nervous, but what choice do I have?

Webway to Tacticon: Hellions hath no fury
A quick double update this week. I managed to finish my Hellions that had heads and get them on the sky boards. I was just to excited to wait. I had thought these guys a ways off, and had started on the boards as a bit of a break, but when I came back to work on them I was pleasantly surprised that they did not have much left to do at all.
You can also see the Baron off to the right. He is currently getting his cape finished. I have finished the brocade on the top of the cape and am trying to decide if I need to do it on the bottom or not. Probably yes, sigh. Then its the decal, repaint, touch up, a couple details left, and he will be done, too.
I am really happy with how this army is coming and am getting fairly close to finishing the whole thing. I hope to be very close to finished by the next time I get to play in almost three weeks.
And since this quick post as turned rather long, I'm off.

Webway to Tacticon: More Hellions!
This is what has been on my paint table for the last week. I haven't been terribly productive, but I have been moving forward. As you can see, I have three more skyboards almost finished, and am almost finished with all my canopies. I am also making gains on the Hellions I had and the Baron.
I also have all my Hellions. These three are missing heads, as I am not using the Hellion heads, but rather the Reaver pony tail heads. So, until I get more of those, the riders themselves are in limbo. The boards you see here are the ones that are already painted in the previous picture. I managed to all but finish them on Friday. All they have left is gems and engine discoloration. I hope to have both done by the time this posts. This week I also hope to get the jetbikes painted and the canopies on. I won't get in any games next Saturday due to the warmahordes tourney and International Table Top Day. But, by the next time I play, I should have the actual bikes finished, and be well on the way for the riders.
