So, yeah, it has been a bit. With the whole pandemic thing I hadn't been getting in very many games. And I wasn't really posting before that. I hope to change that, as much as because I need the outlet to write aas much as to break down my games for my own cognitive.
I played a game of Age of Sigmar recently against a guy from the Denver area. We met up the night of the midnight release of 3rd edition. But this was before that, so we played 2nd. I have been playing Ogors, as much to get myself to finish painting them as anything. And I have been making good strides. Or was. I got bored and jumped to painting Infinity for a break. More on that to come.
My opponent brought KO. This is the second time I have faced KO and I knew how much they shot. Though the first game was mostly KO huddled in a corner and Gotrek munching my Tomb Kings. For this one we played a mission with 3 objectives in the middle. He gave me first turn and so I promptly jumped on them. I was also running my Firebelly for the first time, and his ash cloud was invaluable.
In the end, he ate a lot of my stuff, I ate some of his stuff, but I held onto the objective with my big bodies while he danced around trying to get in.
A great game, and a good send off to AoS 2.0.
We also played Quarriors, which was awesome. I fully recommend the game and have since picked it up for myself. I may have to do a review at some point, even though that isn't something I really do.
Catch you around.
